PSG still planning revenge on Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappé signing

The brass at French champions Paris Saint-Germain remain less than happy with their counterparts at Real Madrid, over their free agent signing of Kylian Mbappé.

That’s according to Marca, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.

Frontman Mbappé of course brought an end to the long-term speculation surrounding his future last summer, in penning terms with Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

After a shaky start to life in Spain’s capital, the 26-year-old has since rediscovered his brilliant best, sitting on 31 goals scored for the season.

And as alluded to above, those in a postion of power at his former employers remain less than pleased with such excellence coming in the colours of another club.

As per a report from Marca, in fact, so unhappy are PSG, that the Ligue 1 leaders are monitoring a number of leading Real Madrid youth talents, with a view to potential contract offers:

‘The best way to put what happened to the French international behind them is to strike back at Real Madrid. And they’re exploring the possibility of signing one of the gems from the Real Madrid youth academy.’
