PSG handed timely injury boost ahead of Barcelona clash

The task awaiting La Liga giants Barcelona in the club’s impending showdown with French champions Paris Saint-Germain has today been made a taller one.

This comes amid confirmation that PSG have been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.

Luis Enrique’s squad, fresh off booking their spot in the French Cup final, were put through their paces in Paris earlier today.

As much came with a view to a weekend Ligue 1 meeting with Clermont and, of course, an ensuing Champions League quarter-final first leg clash with the aforementioned Barcelona.

All associated with the Ligue 1 heavyweights, in turn, will no doubt be delighted to hear of reinforcements in training on Friday.

Sidelined since the international break owing to a muscular injury suffered whilst on duty with France’s U21s, Bradley Barcola linked back up with his teammates in group training this morning.

The gifted winger is understood to have participated as normal, therefore expected to be available to feature against Barcelona next Wednesday.

Barcola, for his part, has played an important role for PSG across the season to date, racking up 33 appearances in all competitions, and chipping in with three goals and six assists along the way.
