Premier League star ‘dreams’ of playing for Real Madrid

A member of the defensive ranks at Premier League outfit Bournemouth has set his sights firmly on a future move to Spain, with Real Madrid.

That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Dean Huijsen as the player in question.

Youngster Huijsen has spent the season to date making a name for himself as one of the most highly-regarded up-and-coming defenders in Europe.

After departing Italian heavyweights Juventus for the aforementioned Bournemouth, the Spaniard, still just 19, has taken to the challenges of Premier League football like a duck to water.

All told, Huijsen has racked up 22 league appearances, chipping in with a pair of goals.

And the excellence displayed by the youngster across these outings, it is understood, has not gone at all unnoticed back in his home country.

Recent weeks have seen it increasingly reported that Real Madrid are expressing a keen interest in Huijsen’s signature.

And interest in a joining of forces this summer, it would appear, is very much mutual.

As per a report from AS:

‘The young Bournemouth centre-back dreams of playing for Real Madrid, who are following his development with interest.’
