Predicted Spain XI vs Jordan

Spain are set to face Jordan at the Amman International Stadium this afternoon in their first friendly out of two before they commence their World Cup campaign in Qatar.

This will be Luis Enrique’s first opportunity to test out the squad he called up last Friday to the biggest tournament in international football.

The Asturian coach confirmed that Marcos Llorente, Álvaro Morata, Hugo Guillamón and José Luis Gayà will not participate in this fixture, with the two players from Valencia recovering from injuries.

Ansu Fati, who has been struggling for games at Barcelona this season, is expected to take Morata’s place up front.

Luis Enrique will be hoping for an easy win against Jordan and a clean sheet.

Predicted Spain lineup against Jordan

AS predict that Luis Enrique will field the following starting XI against Jordan: Unai Simón – César Azpilicueta, Eric García, Aymeric Laporte, Jordi Alba – Koke, Rodrigo, Carlos Soler – Nico Williams, Ansu Fati, Pablo Sarabia.

The match is set to kick-off at 5.00 pm CET
