Sevilla travel to Vitoria-Gasteiz in order to face Deportivo Alavés in the round of last 16 of the Copa del Rey later today.
Los Nervionenses reached this stage of the competition by beating Linares from the province of Jaén earlier in January.
After losing to Girona 2-1 over the weekend and dropping into the bottom three in the standings, the Copa del Rey will act as a distraction from La Liga for Sevilla players and fans alike.
Jorge Sampaoli is expected to make a couple of changes to his starting XI. Jesús Navas will most likely make way for Gonzalo Montiel, while Youssef En-Neysri will probably get the nod ahead of Rafa Mir.
Predicted Sevilla lineup against Deportivo Alavés
AS predict that Sampaoli will field the following starting XI against Deportivo Alavés: Marko Dmitrović – Gonzalo Montiel, Loïc Badé, Nemanja Gudelj, Karim Rekik, Marcos Acuña – Óliver Torres, Fernando, Ivan Rakitić – Erik Lamela, Youssef En-Neysri.
The match is set to kick off at 9 pm local time.
