Predicted Croatia XI vs Morocco

Croatia will play Morocco later today in the third place play-off of the World Cup.

Croatia found themselves missing out on the chance of playing in the final after losing 3-0 against Argentina in the semi-final on Tuesday.

Real Madrid’s Luka Modrić is expected to captain the side and form Croatia’s midfield along with Marcelo Brozović and Mateo Kovačić. Atlético Madrid second-choice keeper Ivo Grbić and Osasuna striker Ante Budimir will most likely start the game on the bench.

In his pre-match press conference yesterday, Zlatko Dalić told the media that he hopes that Modrić chooses to continue to captain the national team beyond the World Cup.

Predicted Croatia lineup against Morocco:

AS predict that Dalić will field the following starting XI against Morocco: Dominik Livaković – Josip Juranović, Dejan Lovren, Joško Gvardiol, Borna Sosa – Luka Modrić, Marcelo Brozović, Mateo Kovačić – Mario Pašalić, Mario Pašalić, Ivan Perišić.

The match is set to kick off at 4 pm CET.
