Predicted Barcelona XI vs Real Madrid

Barcelona travel to Spain’s capital city to face Real Madrid at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu this afternoon, with kick-off scheduled at 4.15pm local time.

Yesterday it was communicated that Jules Koundé was deemed fit to play in El Clásico and he will most likely slot in at right-back to cover for the injured Héctor Bellerín.

Due to Ronald Araújo’s injury, Marcos Alonso will probably play as centre-back alongside Eric García. Frenkie de Jong is predicted to get the nod ahead of Sergio Busquets.

While Barcelona will be looking to win and go home with three points, they do not want to risk losing either. A loss could see Real Madrid go three points ahead of them and continue their unbeaten run.

Predicted Barcelona lineup against Real Madrid

Mundo Deportivo predict that Xavi will field the following starting XI against Real Madrid: Marc-André ter Stegen – Jules Koundé, Eric García, Marcos Alonso, Alejandro Balde – Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri – Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, Ousmane Dembélé.
