Predicted Argentina XI vs Saudi Arabia

Argentina face Saudi Arabia in the first round of the World Cup group stages.

This will be Lionel Messi’s fifth World Cup with Argentina, with many believing that it will be his final appearance on the biggest stage of international football.

Alongside the the PSG star, it is predicted that Lionel Scaloni will field three players who play in La Liga, specifically two from Atlético Madrid and one from Sevilla.

Nahuel Molina, a regular feature of Los Colchoneros’ starting XI, will most likely start at right-back, while club teammate Rordigo De Paul is expected to play in the middle of the park alongside Sevilla midfielder Papu Gómez and Leandro Paredes from Juventus.

AS predict that Scaloni will field the following starting XI against Saudi Arabia: Emiliano Martínez – Nahuel Molina, Cristian Romero, Nicolás Otamendi, Nicolás Tagliafico – Papu Gómez, Leandro Paredes, Rodrigo De Paul – Ángel Di María, Lautaro Martínez, Lionel Messi.
