According to Estadio Deportivo, Real Betis will begin with the following eleven for tonight’s La Liga clash with Villarreal.
It will be a test for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, given that the Chilean coach has lost two of his first-choice players in less than a week, Juanmi Jiménez and Nabil Fekir, who will be out of action for some time due to injury.
These setbacks will force Pellegrini to make changes in his starting line-up. Betis have won four of their five matches this season, having only lost to Real Madrid.
Villarreal remain unbeaten and have not conceded a single goal so far this season in La Liga.
In defence, Sabaly is expected to start at right-back and Álex Moreno on the left. In the centre of defence, Edgar is likely to start after being left out against HJK Helsinki in the Europa League. The Catalan will be accompanied by Pezzella or Luiz Felipe, given that Víctor Ruiz is injured.
In the engine room, Guido Rodríguez and William Carvalho will allow the Betis attack to do their thing. Sergio Canales has returned from injury and the other two positions will go to two of Aitor Ruibal, Rodri, Luiz Henrique and Joaquín.
Borja Iglesias, who has started the season very well and who was rested against HJK Helsinki on Thursday, will be the one leading the line on Sunday night.
