La Liga 2021/22, Matchday 32 – 15/4/22
Real Sociedad and Real Betis played out a scoreless draw in La Liga on Friday night. Here are the player ratings from the Matchday 32 fixture.
Álex Remiro, 6 – An early save to a Pezzella header was the most he had to do all game. Barely tested. Remiro has now kept the most clean sheets in Europe’s top five leagues this season (18), surpassing Alisson (17) and Ederson (17).
Andoni Gorosabel, 5
Igor Zubeldia, 6
Robin Le Normand, 6
Diego Rico, 7 – Advanced well on occasion, with some inviting crosses that ultimately failed to find a potent target. Had the better of Bellerín all game.
Martín Zubimendi, 6
Mikel Merino, 7
David Silva, 8 – The orchestrator of a couple of good La Real attacks, which were not converted. Sent off late on for a double-yellow.
Alexander Isak, 4 – Disappointing night for the striker. Caught offside multiple times, and failed to finish a good chance inside the box.
Alexander Sørloth, 7 – Occupied a slightly deeper role than his strike partner Isak, linking well with the midfield and advancing fullbacks. Unable to create anything productive.
Aritz Elustondo, 6
Cristian Portu, 5
Adnan Januzaj, 7 – The brightest of La Real’s subs, creating a couple of chances with in-roads into Betis’ box.
Claudio Bravo, 7 – Made good saves to deny Isak’s attempts.
Héctor Bellerín, 4
Germán Pezzella, 6
Marc Bartra, 8 – Excellent defensive recoveries to ward off the threats of Isak, Sørloth, and La Real overloads on the right flank.
Álex Moreno, 6 – Energetic early on with some entrances into the final third, but faded away as the game progressed.
Guido Rodríguez, 5
William Carvalho, 5 – Fired Betis’ best chance of the first half over the bar. Booked and subbed at half-time.
Sergio Canales, 6 – A quiet game from the Betis number 10, his best effort being a free-kick attempt that was centimetres wide of the target.
Nabil Fekir, 7 – Betis’ best creator on the night with some charging runs from midfield.
Borja Iglesias, 4 – Anonymous all game having received very little service.
Aitor Ruibal, 5
Willian José, 5
Joaquín, 7 – Lively cameo off the bench on the left flank, but no end result.
