A round of photos stemming from the buildup to Barcelona’s meeting with Athletic Club have turned heads on Saturday evening.
This comes after Barca’s priority summer transfer target was spotted enjoying a warm exchange with several members of Hansi Flick’s squad.
The Blaugrana are currently locked in action with Ernesto Valverde’s Athletic, in Catalunya’s capital.
The aforementioned Nico, meanwhile, after dominating the headlines throughout the summer, has been afforded a starting berth.
As alluded to above, though, it is not the contributions of the 22-year-old during the clash thus far which have piqued attentions on Saturday night.
Instead, as much comes owing to Nico’s endeavours ahead of kick-off.
Upon his arrival at Montjuïc, the explosive attacker made his way directly onto the pitch.
This came with a view to meeting up with four members of Barcelona’s squad, with whom Williams has built a close bond owing to his time spent with the Spanish national team.
