A photo no doubt set to bring a collective smile to the faces of Barcelona fans the world over has this week come to the fore online.
This comes amid confirmation that the new grass is finally being laid at the club’s Camp Nou Stadium.
Barcelona’s beloved home ground has of course been undergoing renovations for some time now.
Amid efforts to bring the Camp Nou in line with some of football’s most modern stadiums, the Blaugrana brass green-lighted a major makeover, which will see everything from stands to facilities and fan experience upgraded.
The return of Hansi Flick’s squad to the ground has since been pushed back on a whole host of occasions, with some point early next season now looking the most likely comeback date.
As alluded to above, though, this week, some altogether noteworthy progress has at last been confirmed.
