A photo of Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger has today turned heads across the Blancos’ fanbase.
This comes after the German was spotted issuing an apology to those to have made the trip to the Santiago Bernabéu for last night’s showdown with Barcelona.
The latest edition of El Clásico was of course played to completion late on Saturday.
And, when all was said and done, it was visitors Barcelona who emerged on the right side of an altogether lopsided scoreline.
Owing to strikes on the part of Robert Lewandowski (2), Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, Barca put the reigning Spanish champions to the sword by four goals to nil.
Real Madrid’s stars, for their part, were left looking altogether sheepish on the back of the full-time whistle bringing a close to proceedings, with not a single one having taken their place in front of the media to provide post-match comments.
One, though, who was quick to make clear his regret with how the 90 minutes played out, was the aforementioned Antonio Rüdiger.
Making his way to the stands on Saturday night, stopper Rüdiger was spotted raising his hands, in a clear gesture of apology:
