Owing to a trademark last-gasp comeback, capped off by Jude Bellingham deep into injury time, Real Madrid emerged on the right side of a 3-2 result.
The aforementioned Kylian Mbappé was also on target on the night, drawing the visitors level during the 2nd-half.
And managing to get his hands on the Frenchman’s match-worn jersey on the back of the full-time whistle in Manchester was Bernardo Silva.
Silva and Mbappé were teammates at AS Monaco, with the former having been spotted departing The Etihad on Tuesday with Mbappé’s shirt in hand:
