Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal received the support of a fellow member of Hansi Flick’s squad, in the aftermath of the club’s latest outing.
Barcelona were of course back in action on Saturday evening.
Fresh off a return to winning ways at the expense of Mallorca in midweek, the Blaugrana made the trip to Seville, for a meeting with Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis.
When all was said and done at the Estadio Benito Villamarín, however, Flick and co. saw their win streak brought to an end at just a solitary game.
This came after Barca twice surrendered the lead, en route to an eventual 2-2 stalemate.
One of those to have been left looking particularly crestfallen post-match, meanwhile, was the aforementioned Lamine Yamal.
Afforded a starting berth on the right flank on Saturday, youngster Lamine shone bright, laying on a sumptuous assist for Ferran Torres late on, too.
Evidently struggling with the nature of Barcelona’s dropped points – Betis’ decisive leveller came deep into injury time – the 17-year-old, in turn, was consoled by fellow countryman Pedri on the back of the full-time whistle:
