Images of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham’s reaction to the moment of brilliance conjured up by Luka Modrić during the club’s latest outing have come to the fore online.
This comes after the veteran midfielder put his side in front against Girona in nothing short of spectacular fashion.
Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are currently locked in action in Spain’s capital, in a La Liga meeting with Girona.
Luka Modrić, for his part, was afforded a starting berth for the matchup, from his customary berth at the heart of Real Madrid’s engine room.
And to say that the Croatian went on to justify his inclusion would be something of an understatement.
Late in the first-half on Sunday evening, the ball bounced in front of Modrić 25+ yards from goal.
And the former Tottenham Hotspur standout showed no hesitation in taking aim at goal, picking out the far corner of the Girona net courtesy of a stunning strike.
Amongst those left in awe by as much was another member of Los Blancos’ midfield ranks, in Jude Bellingham.
