Barcelona are set to face Inter Milan in the fourth round of the Champions League group stages, with kick-off scheduled at 9pm local time this evening.
In his pre-match interview that appeared on Marca, Pedri discussed the importance of the fixture:
“I face it like a final. It’s a very important match that can determine part of the season and we’re playing for almost everything. We hope to advance from the group. They are a tough team and they play on the counter. The quality is immense.”
The 19-year-old revealed the responsibilities given to the midfield by Xavi:
“Xavi asks us to score more goals and to get into the box. The other day I scored because I was in the right place, we are working on it. The ideal scenario would be to score early, but we know it’s complicated. They keep a lot of players in their box.”
