One in, one out: Barcelona name squad to face Atalanta

La Liga giants Barcelona have unveiled the club’s matchday squad for their upcoming meeting with Atalanta.

And it features, as expected, one return, as well as one new absentee.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action on the continent later this evening.

After a rampant 7-1 drubbing of Valencia in La Liga over the weekend, the Blaugrana will shift attentions back towards matters in the Champions League, in a meeting with Atalanta.

The group of players set to be depended upon to close out the club’s league phase in the newly-formatted Champions League was, in turn, unveiled a short time ago.

And it features one altogether noteworthy return, in that of Pedri.

Midfielder Pedri missed out against Valencia over the weekend owing to a bout of illness, but is now back fit and firing.

Dropping out, on the other hand, is Andreas Christensen, after the Dane was condemned to a fresh spell on the sidelines due to a muscular injury suffered in training.
