One in, one out as Atlético Madrid green light pair of transfers

The powers that be at Atlético Madrid are ready to move forward with two transfers, ahead of the upcoming winter deadline.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has provided an insight into ongoings behind the scenes at the Wanda Metropolitano.

First, an imminent departure from Madrid has been confirmed.

This comes after Atléti finally reached a definitive agreement with their counterparts at Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, over a deal for Çağlar Söyüncü.

The stopper is primed to fly out to Istanbul later tonight, ahead of putting pen to paper on loan terms with Fener through the summer.

And as one player prepares to call temporary time on his stint in Spain’s capital, another is gearing up for his arrival.

In a further update by way of the aforementioned Romano, Moise Kean at long last looks set to seal his long-touted move from Juventus to Atlético.

Despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the future of Ángel Correa, Diego Simeone and his staff are ready to ‘give the green light’ to the addition of frontman Kean.

The deal will come in the form of a half-season loan, worth a fee in the region of €500,000.
