A surprise statistic surrounding the production of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal in league play of late has come to the fore online.
Wide-man Lamine was of course afforded his latest starting berth on Monday evening, as Barcelona welcomed Rayo Vallecano to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a hard-fought 1-0 result.

Attacking partner in crime Lamine, on the other hand, endured something of a hit-and-miss evening, his final ball not at its best.
And the youngster’s latest blank in front of goal, as alluded to above, has since given rise to a head-turning statistic.
Lamine has now not managed to score a single goal in La Liga since a Clásico meeting with Real Madrid all the way back in late October, a dry streak spanning almost four months.
