Al Sadd have announced that their head coach and former Barcelona and Spain player, Xavi Hernández, has signed a contract renewal at the club until 2023.
In the new deal, there is a release clause in case he decides to leave for Barcelona. Club president Joan Laporta reportedly wants to appoint the coach and has been in contact with him in recent months.
