Villarreal have confirmed the appointment of Unai Emery as their new head coach for the 2020/21 season.
The former Sevilla boss has signed a three-year deal with the Primera club. The Yellow Submarine had an agreement in place with Emery to take over at the end of the 2019/20 season. Outgoing boss Javi Calleja led Villarreal to fifth place in the league meaning Emery has Europa League action to look forward to, a competition he has won three times with Sevilla.
