Villarreal have announced the loan signing of Tottenham and Argentina player Giovani Lo Celso.
Villarreal boss Unai Emery was reportedly key in getting the deal over the line for the midfielder, who joins until the end of the season. The Spanish side have an option to buy included in the deal.
Lyon were interested in signing Lo Celso from Tottenham to replace Bruno Guimarães who has joined Newcastle.
