Valencia have confirmed the sacking of head coach Albert Celades on Monday night.
Since the return of La Liga action in June, Valencia have only picked up one win in five, suffering three defeats along the way.
From Tuesday, former coach Voro Gonzalez will replace the 44-year-old at Mestalla on a provisional basis until the end of the season.
