La Liga outfit Valencia have on Saturday announced some timely reinforcements to the club’s attacking ranks.
This comes amid confirmation of the arrival of Umar Sadiq from Real Sociedad.
The name of frontman Sadiq has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Spain over the course of recent days.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that a new suitor, in the aforementioned Valencia, had emerged in the race for the wantaway Nigerian.
Sadiq has for his part endured a difficult campaign to date, afforded starts in just two of Real Sociedad’s La Liga fixtures.
The 27-year-old, though, remains held in high regard across the Spanish football landscape, with many of a Valencia persuasion in turn no doubt excited by news of Sadiq’s arrival this weekend.
As per a statement across the official website and social media platforms of Los Che:
‘Valencia CF has reached an agreement with Real Sociedad for the signing of Sadiq Umar until June 30, 2025.
‘The attacker, a Nigerian international, arrives on loan until the end of the current season and Valencia CF will have an option to buy him at the end of the season.’
