Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham just missed out on a place in the final top-10 at the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony. This comes amid confirmation of the midfielder being voted into the No. 11 spot.
Bellingham for his part actually endured something of a hit-and-miss season from an individual standpoint in 2025/26.
As Real Madrid struggled as a collective to gel on the pitch, the 23-year-old was amongst those to suffer a drop in output and overall performance level alike.
At this summer’s World Cup, however, Bellingham reminded anyone who may have forgotten of his absolutely unquestionable talents.
En route to a semi-final finish for England, the former Borussia Dortmund talent emerged as the Three Lions’ driving force, single-handedly dragging his teammates through in more than one fixture.
This has since been followed by a superb start to the new campaign at club level, under the watch of new manager José Mourinho.
Bellingham, as a result, has been voted as the 11th best-performing player in world football over the last 12 months at Monday’s Ballon d’Or ceremony in London:
