Official | Óscar Rodríguez joins Sevilla from Real Madrid

Óscar Rodríguez has signed a five-year contract with Sevilla, the Primera club have confirmed.

The 22-year-old becomes the club’s first signing of the summer transfer window, completing his move from Real Madrid. The midfielder will join Lopetegui’s side and Madrid will receive €13.5m while maintaining 25% of the player’s rights.

Rodríguez spent a very successful season, on a personal level, on loan with Leganes during the 2019/20 campaign, attracting interest from several clubs across Europe. The Europa League champions managed to land the player until 2025, with sporting director Monchi believed to be a strong admirer.
