Official: One returns as Real Madrid name squad to face Barcelona

The squad of players set to be depended upon by Real Madrid for their upcoming showdown with Barcelona has been unveiled online.

And it features one noteworthy return.

The final Clásico of the campaign is of course set to play out tomorrow afternoon.

The clash will see Barcelona act as hosts, welcoming Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid to Catalunya’s capital for a top-of-the-table La Liga showdown.

The latter head into the matchup aware that a victory is essentially a must, in their efforts to keep pace with their arch rivals in the title race.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of the Real coaching staff naming as strong a squad as possible to make the trip to Montjuïc.

The panel of players is showcased in full below, featuring the returning Rodrygo, who has recovered from a recent bout of illness.

Missing out, on the other hand, are all of the sidelined Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, Antonio Rüdiger, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, and Eduardo Camavinga.
