The squad of players called upon by the coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid for the club’s next outing has on Friday been unveiled online. And it features a welcome return at the back.
José Mourinho’s troops are primed to return to action on Saturday night, set to welcome capital rivals Rayo Vallecano to the Santiago Bernabéu for a league clash.
Los Blancos head into the matchup with sights on a bounce-back result, following a first defeat of the domestic term at Real Betis last weekend.
And as alluded to above, 24 hours out, the group of players set to be tasked with as much has been revealed.
The most noteworthy inclusion comes at the back, where Raúl Asencio is called up for the first time in 2026/27 following a knee injury suffered in pre-season.
