Getafe have on Thursday announced a summer signing from La Liga rivals Real Madrid.

Wide-man Peter, for his part, saw his future thrown firmly back up in the air over the course of the last couple of weeks.
This comes after Valencia, with whom the 21-year-old spent the 2nd half of the season on loan, surprised Peter and Real Madrid alike, in deciding against activating their option to make his signing permanent.
The door, in turn, was opened for rival suitors to enter the fray for a player who has long showcased flashes of his talents down the right flank.
And, as alluded to above, on Thursday, one such club have made their interest count.
As per a statement across their official website and social media platforms, Getafe have signed Peter on a permanent basis.
The Dominican youth international has put pen to paper on terms at the Estadio Coliseum through the summer of 2028.
