Diego Simeone and his coaching staff have signed contract extensions at Atlético Madrid until 2024, the club confirmed on Thursday.
Since taking over at Atlético in 2011, the Argentine has won more trophies than any other manager in the club’s history (eight). His most recent triumph was winning the 2020/21 LaLiga title.
The members of his coaching staff have also signed contract extensions until 2024. Óscar Ortega, Pablo Vercellone, Nelson Vivas and Hernán Bonvinvini have all put pen to paper on new contracts.
