Official | Darwin Machís leaves Granada CF to join FC Juárez

Granada CF and FC Juárez have reached an agreement on the transfer of Darwin Machís, the La Liga have confirmed in a statement.

The Venezuelan player bids farewell to the Andalusian club after three different spells at the club.

Machís made 156 official appearances for the first team. The winger was part of the club’s Europa League run under former manager Diego Martínez.

“Granada CF would like to thank Machís for his efforts and professionalism during all these years and wishes him the best of luck for the future,” the club wrote.

The arrival of Robert Moreno in the summer of 2021 gave him another opportunity to take on a greater role, although the chance he was given was not fully taken. Under Rubén Torrecilla and Aitor Karanka he was in and out of the side.

The Mexican club have not yet made their official announcement, despite Granada announcing his departure.

Machís leaves Europe after playing for Vitoria Gimaraes, Hércules, Leganes, Huesca, Udinese and Cádiz.

In his last season with Granada, the 29-year-old scored four league goals.
