Official: Carlo Ancelotti makes changes as Real Madrid name XI to face Man City

The XI of players set to be depended upon by La Liga giants Real Madrid to get the better of Manchester City this evening has been unveiled online.

And it features a couple of altogether noteworthy changes.

Real are of course primed to return to action in short order.

With a place in the Last-16 of the Champions League on the line, Los Blancos will welcome Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to Madrid, for a highly-anticipated clash.

The Spanish champions currently boast the advantage, owing to a comeback 3-2 triumph at The Etihad last week.

As alluded to above, though, boss Carlo Ancelotti has nevertheless opted to alter his line-up for Wednesday.

Stepping back into Real’s backline is Antonio Rüdiger, afforded the medical green light following a recent spell on the sidelines through injury.

And as much has pushed Aurélien Tchouaméni back into his natural position in the middle of the park, dropping Eduardo Camavinga to the bench.
