Official | Bayern Munich sign Bryan Zaragoza from Granada

Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Bryan Zaragoza for €15m from Granada. The 22-year-old’s departure was confirmed in a statement from the Andalusian club on Wednesday.

The winger will remain at Granada for the rest of the season before joining Bayern ahead of the 2024-25 season and has put pen to paper on a five-year deal that commits him to the German club until June 30, 2029. In order to get the deal over the line, Bayern have paid slightly over the player’s release clause, which amounts to €14m.

There has been significant interest in the Spaniard in recent months with the likes of Brentford and RB Leipzig approaching the player to try and convince him to join. However, this saga has now concluded with the player deciding to join one of Europe’s elite clubs.

According to reports, Zaragoza has already passed the first part of his medical ahead of his proposed move. At Bayern, the player will have a considerable salary increase and will not have a release clause in his contract.

This season, the dynamic winger has five goals and two assists to his name for Granada with his performances earning him a call-up to the Spanish national team in October. He made his debut in the 2-0 victory against Scotland.
