The squad of players set to be depended upon by La Liga giants Barcelona for the club’s upcoming showdown with Borussia Dortmund has on Tuesday been unveiled.
And it features one altogether noteworthy inclusion…
The player in question? Ronald Araújo.
Defender Araújo is for his part of course yet to take to the pitch this season, owing to a serious hamstring injury suffered whilst on international duty during the summer.
The Uruguayan has spent recent weeks ramping up his recovery at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, giving rise to hope of a return to the pitch at some point this month.
And though as much is not expected to arrive against Dortmund, Araújo is nevertheless part of the travelling party bound for Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday night.
