Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Tuesday secured for himself a fresh piece of individual silverware.
This comes amid confirmation that the youngster has been named the La Liga Player of the Month for February.
Wide-man Lamine has for his part taken to the pitch in Barcelona’s colours on five occasions across the month to date.
And along the way, the 17-year-old has continued to prove himself the standout young player in world football, chipping in with a goal and an assist.
The latter came this past weekend, when Lamine teed up Barca’s crucial go-ahead goal in a hard-fought meeting with Las Palmas.
And such endeavours, as alluded to above, have on Tuesday been recognised by those who oversee Spanish football’s top-flight.
As per a statement across La Liga’s official website and social media platforms this afternoon:
‘Lamine Yamal is U23 Player of the Month for February.’
