La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday at last announced the club’s first major signing of the summer transfer window.
The player to have put pen to paper on terms with the Blaugrana with a view to next season? Dani Olmo.
Attacking midfielder Olmo has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several days now.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that Deco and co. had seen a big-money proposal for the Euro 2024 winner accepted by their counterparts at RB Leipzig.
Olmo, in turn, touched down in Barcelona on Wednesday, since undergoing a round of medical tests at the club’s training base.
And, as alluded to above, this afternoon, as much has been followed by the 26-year-old officially signing his contract with Hansi Flick’s side.
As per a release across Barca’s website and social media platforms, Olmo has committed to terms all the way through the summer of 2030.
