The XI of players chosen by the Barcelona coaching staff for tonight’s meeting with Espanyol has been unveiled online.
Barcelona are of course primed to return to action in short order.
In the knowledge that an eventual victory would see them officially crowned Spanish champions, the Blaugrana have made the short trip across Catalunya, for a La Liga meeting with neighbours Espanyol.
Hansi Flick is without the services of several leading members of his squad for the clash, with the likes of Jules Koundé, Iñigo Martínez and Ferran Torres unavailable for selection.
Barca’s headmaster, though, has nevertheless managed to field a strong line-up of players for Thursday’s derby.
The likes of Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha are all in from the off, with sights firmly on securing Spanish champion status before the day is out.
