FC Barcelona have tonight confirmed the appointment of new head coach Quique Setién until 2022. The former Real Betis boss has signed on a two-and-a-half-year contract. The 61-year-old replaces Ernesto Valverde in the role after it was confirmed the coach had been relieved of his duties earlier today.
The Catalan club held talks with former captain Xavi but he turned down the position over the weekend.
