The squad of players called up by La Liga giants Barcelona for the club’s upcoming meeting with Benfica has on Tuesday been unveiled online.
Barcelona, of course, are primed to return to action later this evening.
Turning attentions back towards matters on the continent, the Blaugrana will welcome the aforementioned Benfica to Catalunya’s capital, for a Champions League Last-16 2nd-leg clash.
Hansi Flick’s troops boast a narrow advantage heading into the fixture, owing to a hard-fought 1-0 victory in Portugal last week.
With qualification for the quarter-finals far from secured, though, Flick and his coaching staff have nevertheless opted to call upon a strong group of players.
The only absentees of note come in the form of long-term sidelined pair Marc-André ter Stegen and Marc Bernal, along with Andreas Christensen.
The rarely seen Ansu Fati, on the other hand, is called up.
