Barcelona have this evening announced their agreement with Palmeiras for the transfer of Brazilian player Matheus Fernandes Siqueira and he will join the club on July 1st.
The transfer fee will be €7m plus €3m in add-ons. The 21-year-old will sign a five-year contract that will take him up to the end of the 2024/25 season with his buy out clause set at €300m. The Brazilian is a well-rounded defensive midfielder with an excellent right foot and has featured at U17 and U20 level for Brazil.
