Official | Aurélien Tchouaméni completes move to Real Madrid

Aurélien Tchouaméni has officially completed his move to Real Madrid from AS Monaco.

The France international underwent the final part of his medical on Tuesday morning after featuring for France in the UEFA Nations League against Croatia on Monday night.

The 22-year-old midfielder signs on a six-year deal for €80 million plus €20 million in add-ons.

He will be presented to Real Madrid supporters at the Santiago Bernabéu at 12.30 pm CEST.

Germany international Antonio Rüdiger became Madrid’s first summer signing and the addition of the French midfielder to Carlo Ancelotti’s squad only strengthens the reigning European champions heading into the 2022-23 campaign.

Liverpool and PSG were the other sides interested in signing Tchouaméni, however, his priority was to join Madrid, where he will link up with fellow French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Tchouaméni scored five goals and registered three assists in 50 games in all competitions for Monaco last season.
