Real Madrid have on Thursday registered another member of the club’s summer recruitment drive for La Liga action for the season ahead.
The player in question? Yan Diomandé.
Winger Diomandé of course saw his long-awaited Real Madrid switch made official earlier this month. Following weeks of rampant speculation, the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu agreed to meet the massive demands set out by their counterparts at RB Leipzig to make the transfer a reality.
The 19-year-old has since gone on to link up with his new teammates in Spain’s capital, ahead of playing what is expected to be a prominent role under José Mourinho over the weeks and months ahead.
And as alluded to above, on Thursday, Diomandé’s eligibility to take to the pitch in league fixtures in 2026/27 was confirmed.
