Official: Another Real Madrid star handed World Cup call

Another member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week secured for himself a place on the plane to this summer’s World Cup.

The player in question? Brahim Díaz.

Attacker Brahim is for his part fresh off something of a hit-and-miss campaign in the colours of Real Madrid.

Owing to the stiff competition for places in Los Blancos’ frontline, the 26-year-old was afforded just 13 league starts across the length of the term.

Brahim nevertheless continued to contribute at an impressive rate, though, racking up a goal and a considerable eight assists.

Considered one of the first names on the team sheet of the Moroccan national team, it has therefore come as little surprise to see the former AC Milan called up for the World Cup.

As showcased below, Brahim has been named alongside the likes of Achraf Hakimi, Sofyan Amrabat and Ez Abde in The Atlas Lions’ squad for this summer’s showpiece.
