No bid from Manchester United for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as of yet

Manchester United are yet to submit a bid for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as broken by Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier this week it was communicated that Manchester United are interested in signing Aubameyang from Barcelona.

The Red Devils are looking for a striker that can solve their problems up front. Manchester United lost their first two league fixtures of the season and only scored one goal in two games.

However, the Premier League side are yet to make an offer for the Gabonese international.

It is believed that Aubameyang would prefer to join Chelsea as the London-based outfit would guarantee him Champions League football.

Nonetheless, the 33-year-old has been insisting that he is happy at Barcelona and is not keen on moving back to England. Xavi also wants to keep Aubameyang as he is part of his project at Barça.

However, the sale of the former Arsenal forward could help alleviate the Blaugrana’s financial constraints that prevent them from registering new players.
