Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona made use of the opportunity to send a crystal clear message the way of the club’s board, during their tour of the USA this week.
The message in question surrounded the Blaugrana’s work on the transfer front, specifically their pursuit of Athletic Club star Nico Williams.
The name of wide-man Williams has of course positioned itself front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital once more across the week to date.
This comes as claims continue to mount that the 22-year-old has come to the decision to rebuff the long-running advances of Barcelona, in favour of staying put in Bilbao.
Deco and the Camp Nou board have in turn already begun to turn their attentions towards alternative targets, RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo chief among them.
As alluded to above, however, some members of the Barcelona fanbase, evidently, are not yet ready to give up on their dreams of seeing Nico line out in the club’s colours.
In attendance at the Barca team hotel in Maryland on Friday, the fans in question, in turn, took advantage of the chance to once more call out for the signing of the Euro 2024 winner.
