Updates on the wellbeing of Athletic Club stars Nico and Iñaki Williams have come to the fore on Sunday evening.
This comes after the siblings set pulses racing during Athletic’s 4-0 La Liga drubbing of Mallorca on Friday night.
Both appeared to pick up fitness problems at San Mamés, sparking immediate concern surrounding an incoming spell on the sidelines.
As much could not have come at a worse time, less than a week out from Los Leones’ Copa del Rey semi-final first-leg showdown with Atlético Madrid.
In turn, all associated with Athletic will no doubt be keenly interested to hear of an update on the fitness of both attackers, on Sunday, being provided.
The info comes courtesy of El Chiringuito TV, who have confirmed that Iñaki is fit and well, therefore set to feature from the off at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Nico, on the other hand, looks a serious doubt. In fact, it is currently viewed as ‘highly unlikely’ that the 21-year-old will play any part.
