Yet another highly-regarded up-and-coming young talent was afforded the chance to showcase his talents in first-team training at La Liga champions Barcelona on Thursday.
The starlet in question? Ïu Martínez.
Martínez, for his part, is a 17-year-old attacker who has spent recent years working his way through the youth ranks at La Masia. The Spaniard chiefly operates on the left wing, but is also capable of taking to the pitch from the right.
He was recently promoted to the U19 setup at the Ciutat Esportiva, with a view to the season ahead. And as alluded to above, Martínez’s efforts since have evidently proved enough to pique the attentions of the first-team staff in Barcelona.
