New suitor emerges in race for Barcelona’s Mika Faye

A fresh suitor have emerged in the race for Barcelona starlet Mikayil Faye.

That’s if the latest word stemming from Italy is anything to go by, amid claims that Scudetto holders Inter Milan have begun sniffing around Faye’s signature.

The name of stopper Faye has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several months now.

This comes owing to widespread speculation surrounding the future of the Senegalese.

Amid something of a logjam at the heart of defence in Barcelona’s first-team setup, Deco and co. have seemingly identified Faye’s sale as something of a market opportunity.

And, as alluded to above, this week, a new suitor are understood to have positioned themselves in the fray for the 20-year-old.

As per a report from Daniele Mari of Fcinter1908, citing Sky Sport, Inter Milan have earmarked Faye as a potential addition ahead of the close of the summer window.

The Nerazzurri are understood to be on the lookout for reinforcements at centre-half, with Barcelona’s talented youngster considered a solid market opportunity.

It now remains to be seen whether or not the brass at San Siro can convince their Camp Nou counterparts by way of an offer.
