Newly-signed Real Madrid starlet Dean Huijsen has early this week opened up on some of the detils of the first conversation between he and Xabi Alonso.
This of course comes as the pair prepare to unite for something of a new era in Spain’s capital over the months ahead.
Huijsen, for his part, sealed a big-money Real Madrid switch last month, after Los Blancos agreed to pay the release clause included in the defender’s contract with Bournemouth.
As much came with the full backing of the new man on the bench at the Santiago Bernabéu, Xabi Alonso, who was no doubt left impressed by Huijsen’s exploits across a spectacular solitary season in the Premier League.
Speaking during an interview with Diario AS this week, the 20-year-old was therefore asked about the details of the first phone conversation between he and his new headmaster.
And Huijsen went on to explain:
”Nothing much, we talked a little about the team and what he had in mind, and the project. Of course, we want to win again, and we’re sure we will.”
